(hobby/cusine)A traditional gastronomy competition, exhibition of chefs and confectioners featuring a special category “Artistique” in sculpturing from confectionery, vegetable and fruit ingredients. An accompanying cultural program for visitors. Visit the Eastern Bohemia regional city Hradec Kralove renowed by its representative urbanistic architecture.

Market of Bohemia Garden
(hobby)A big spring event for all gardeners where you find all necessary bits for your successful gardening this year. Open from 9:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs. Entry: 60 CZK (adults), 20 CZK (children).

Policka Jazz
(music)The traditional international jazz festival held in Policka that is also a birthplace of a famous composer Bohuslav Martinu. Performing ensembles and soloists from the Czech Republic, USA and Holland. You will be pleasantly surprised by this small charming town with historical sights dated back to the 14th century. Worthy as a family trip!

Flora Olomouc
(hobby/garden)An international horticultural exhibition and fair, the oldest and most prestigious event of its kind in the Czech Republic. Also visit conservatories with one of the largest collections of palms, suculent, tropic and subtropical plants in the country.

Mammoths at Tocnik
(event)An annual prehistoric days held at the castle medieval fortification as well as a place of a prehistoric settlement. Prehistoric workshop, kitchen, clothing and living – a prehistoric time at a glance. Also competitions and searching for a mammoth is a part of the program. Come and enter into the primeval ages. Starts at 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs. A great tip for a family trip. Castle Točník is located very close to Prague. A pleasant walk through a wood makes a nice spring exercise :-)

Potter Fest
(culture)For the 6th time you can admire the art of pottery making at a traditional fest. A tour of the 1st floor of Nelahozeves castle, a period program including games for children as well as adults, falconry, specialities of the castle kitchen , wine and beer tasting ..... all this promises a great fun! Open from 9:00 to 17:00 hrs. Entry: 85 CZK (adult), 50 CZK (children), 220 CZK (family).

Witch Meeting
(event)A traditional event held on the last day of April. There will be a grand competition for the best witch. Also other competitions in amusing categories are awaiting you. Jump on the train and be there in 1 hour time :-)

Beltine
(Celt festival)A Celtic culture holiday at its jubilee 15th year held at the state castle Telc. The international festival offers you a truly amusing Celtic program: concerts, dancing, rituals, fencing, history, traditional crafts, romance, present and many more. Starts at 20:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs of the next day.
